Funding is available under the IAS to help communities to celebrate NAIDOC Week 2016. The Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (the Department) invites eligible applicants to submit applications for NAIDOC grant funding.
The NAIDOC grant funding round aims to support activities being held during NAIDOC Week 2016 (3-10 July) that celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures, achievements and continuing contributions to our country and society.
To apply for funding, applicants should:
- Read the 2016 NAIDOC grants round Application Kit
- Read the revised IAS grant guidelines
- Complete and submit the online Application Form
More information on how to apply, including all of the documents applicants need, the link to the Application Form, and a copy of the Application Kit, are available now Department’s website.
Please Note: Due to systems maintenance the online submission of applications for grant funding will be unavailable from 08:00PM to 11:30PM AEST Monday 4th April 2016.
This may affect the submission of some applications for the 2016 NAIDOC grant round.
Applicants will only be affected if they attempt to enter an existing Provider Reference Number. Applicants may receive an “Internet Connection error” when the system tries to verify the number.
If this occurs you can change your answer to “No” for the question “Does the applicant have a current or previous grant agreement in place with this Department?”. You will then be asked whether you have an Australian Business Number.
Answering this question will make visible a number of questions that will allow you to identify your organisation and complete, submit or save the form.
Applications close 29 April 2016, 4:00 pm (AEST).
All enquiries relating to applications for NAIDOC grant funding should be directed by email to IASgrants@pmc.gov.au or by phone to the PM&C Regional Network on 1800 079 098.
