Support for our Festival and the community on Ambrym Island Vanuatu

The Blackbird Solwata Sports and Cultural (Soccer) Festival is on again in December this year.

We are looking for support to assist us to make this another successful event for the families of West Ambrym Island and all those families and communities who will be attending and playing.

Last year we raised AUD $20,000 for the local community, this helped with paying school fees, to some families setting up small businesses such as building accommodation for tourists to setting up a small farm for the community.

We are also looking for sponsors this will assist us to provide uniforms for the Referees and a new Uniform for the winning teams as well as assist in the general running of the event.

Last year we helped to reconnect families, we promoted healthy lifestyle and addressed communities issues through this event, and this year we hope that it will be bigger and better.

We also have a team from Rockhampton coming over for their first time, some are descendants from this island, and for some it is their first time overseas. It will be a very special and emotional time for all.

Check out our Pozible Campaign as another way you can support us.
