It is a shotgun start at 9am, number of teams depends on the day who turn up (last year 102 players – 25 teams) and all buggies have been booked.   See contacts for further details

Woorabinda is having a big week of celebrations this year for NAIDOC.

One of the big highlights for NAIDOC week will be the NAIDOC Ball.

2015 NAIDOC Community Awards Nominations

The NAIDOC Community Awards is committed to acknowledging and celebrating the efforts of Indigenous achievers within the Rockhampton area.
 
These awards promote the value and contribution of individuals and groups in the following areas:
  • Commitment and Contribution to Indigenous People;
  • Leadership;
  • Uniting Community;
  • Excellence in Sports;
  • Contribution in addressing social/community issues;
  • Contributions in promoting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures;
  • Programs and/or initiatives that strengthen the Indigenous Community.

LIVINGSTON NAIDOC Community Meeting

The Gawula Aboriginal Land Trust in conjunction with the Livingstone Shire Council is looking to celebrate NAIDOC Week on the Capricorn Coast in July, 2015. So with this in view we are seeking individuals and organisations with a desire to be a part of this event and become a community participant to propel this year’s NAIDOC Celebration on the Capricorn Coast for 2015,

The first Meeting will be held on Tuesday 26th May, 15 at 11.30 – 1pm in the Community Development Centre, Yeppoon.
