Please refer to the attached flyers below for details of two upcoming training workshops that I will be running in early March about life after an Acquired Brain Injury in the Rockhampton/Capricorn Coast regions.
The first workshop will be held in Yeppoon on Monday the 3rd of March. The workshop will also be offered in Rockhampton on Tuesday the 4th of March
These 2-hours workshops are free and available to interested service providers/health professionals as well as family members/support persons of people who have experienced a brain injury.
The workshops will cover a range of topics including basics of neuroanatomy, introduction to brain injury, changes after brain injury, and strategies for managing changes after brain injury (e.g., cognitive changes, speech and communication, and behaviour/personality). The workshops will also provide information about services and supports for individuals and families after brain injury, including an introduction to the brain injury STEPS Program which we are seeking to further develop in the Rocky and Capricorn Coast areas.
Places will be limited (each venue can cater for up to 40 people), so please RSVP by emailing me at email@example.com
Alternatively, feel free to give me a call as per the details below if you have any questions about the workshops.
