Talking It Up..!

The Ozcare Mental Health Disaster Recovery Program will be holding three (3) “Talking It Up.” Events in the coming months.

The idea of the evenings is to provide men with information on what is stress and how to deal with stress.

Also we will have a Guest Speaker providing an inspirational or motivational story to the group.

Additionally, men and their partners will also have access to brief health checks (Pit Stops).

Free Morning Tea – Disaster Recovery

Ozcare Disaster Recovery Program and the CQ Recovery Resilience Team are hosting a morning tea and pre-loved fashion show at the Gardens Tearooms.

We have two (2) speakers Shirley Ledger who will talk about her experience during the Toowoomba 2010/2011 floods and Lauren wynyard (Recovery & Resilience Trauma Specialst) who will talk about coping with trauma.

The morning will be rounded off with a fashion parade.

The event is being catered so people will need to RSVP.

Free Ladies Morning Tea

The Ozcare Disaster Recovery Program is holding a free morning tea and pre-loved clothing fashion parade at the Gardens Tearooms (Botanical Gardens) for interested people.

We will also have two (2) guest speakers:

1. Shirley Ledger who will speak about her family’s experience during the 2010 floods in Toowoomba.

2. Lauren Wynyard (Recovery & Resilience Trauma Specialist) from the Rockhampton and Recovery Resilience Team who will talk about coping and managing during a traumatic event

The morning will be rounded off by a pre-loved fashion parade.
