Obstacles Gone Mad event coming here to CQ and is short of volunteers.
- Volunteers, we are always looking for help to run our event. Here is the information about volunteers. Any help is greatly appreciated:
Peak Shift: Start 7:00am until 12:00pm.
The event starts at 8:00am, however we would need time to brief and take the volunteers to their stations.
Off Peak Shift: Start 11:00am until 3:30pm
11:00am for brief and taken to their stations to replace the first shift.
Anyone, who volunteers for any shift is welcome to do the course for free as a thank you for supporting our event. The Off Peak shift would leave from 8:00am and the Peak Shift would leave from 1:00pm.
I can liaise directly with you or if you prefer I could communicate with the directly via SMS and email.

Financial difficulties often have a negative impact on mental health and addressing financial problems early can reduce this impact. Even clients who meet their repayments may still be experiencing financial difficulties and distress. It would be useful to lessen this stress before it’s a major issue.
We will cover
- Discussing the situation and questions to ask
- Respecting the clients’ values
- What are some of the possible options available
- Relevant referral pathways.
Community Education Session provided by Qualified Financial Counsellor
