We are celebration International Women’s Day this Saturday, 7th March from 10-12midday
at the Rockhampton Library Fitzroy Room-230 Bolsover Street Rockhampton.
Our guest speaker at this celebration is Brittany Lauga, new MP for Keppel.
Also, we have our local women to share their stories and their successful journey plus trivia games, best purple dress/costume and cultural dance activities.
Please come along, bring a dish to share!
This celebration is free and all women and men are all welcome to attend.
2) Harmony Day Celebration Lively Get-together – Saturday 21 March at Rockhampton Regional Council’s Library-230 Bolsover Street Rockhampton
Celebration Harmony Day at the Rockhampton, come and try a variety of hands-on activities such as
- Traditional games of Sungka and Lastiko
- African drumming
- African Hair braiding style
- Chinese Origami and Paper Cutting
- Bangladesh Sari workshop
- Japanese and Filipino Tea tasting, cultural dance and more…
