Permanent Full-time Administration Officer

An amendment to the Recruitment and Selection directive now makes it easier to recruit Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees to the public sector through Project 2800. (see attached)

The amendment provides greater flexibility in attracting and selecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees, as it removes the standard advertising requirements for vacancies being filled in specific government employment initiatives such as Project 2800, whilst maintaining the principles of merit-based recruitment.

We are currently seeking applications for a permanent Administration Officer position within Department of Communities,
Community Services Sport and Recreation located in Rockhampton.

The position is a full-time permanent AO3; the role profile has been attached.

Please submit resumes only for applicants that you deem suitable against the role profile. Please note I do not require a written
application addressing the attached role profile. Resumes are required to be emailed to me by COB Tuesday 13 March 2012 at maryanne.peatey@communities.qld.gov.au

Please contact me if you have any queries on 4125 9353.
